Our History
Decades of Faithful Gathering
The National Haitian Convention was founded by a group of visionary Haitian pastors and ministry leaders who recognized the need for a unified platform where Haitian Christians could gather, worship, and grow together.
What began as a small gathering has grown into one of the largest annual Haitian Christian conventions in North America, drawing thousands of attendees from across the United States, Canada, Haiti, and the Caribbean.
Over the decades, NHC has been a catalyst for spiritual revival, ministerial training, youth engagement, and community transformation — remaining steadfast in its commitment to the Haitian church and its people.

Haitian Faith & Culture
Haiti holds a unique place in history as the first Black republic and the first nation in the Western Hemisphere to abolish slavery. The Haitian people carry a legacy of resilience, courage, and deep faith.
The National Haitian Convention celebrates this heritage — honoring the strength of the Haitian church, the richness of Haitian culture, and the enduring faith of a people who have trusted God through every trial.
We are proud to be Haitian. We are proud to be Christian. And we are called to carry both identities with excellence, purpose, and Kingdom impact.
